Central Community Kitchen
No one goes hungry at CCK!
Tuesdays at 5:30 pm
Central Community Kitchen serves a hot, balanced meal, completely free, to everyone who comes. The meal begins at 5:30 pm and typically ends at 6:30 pm. Each meal includes protein, fruit, vegetable, drinks, and dessert. Seconds are often available.
During the COVID pandemic, we continue to serve to go meals to anyone who would like a warm meal.
January 19, 2021, Central Community Kitchen will be moving to 230 E. High Street Springfield, OH 45505. We have established a new home at High Street United Methodist Church and are grateful to be able to continue to serve our community.
Central Community Kitchen (formerly known as Rainbow Table II) has been providing meals to the community for over 10 years. We typically serve over 4,000 meals throughout the year, providing a nutritious (and free) option for hundreds of Springfield families.
The Central Community Kitchen, housed at Central Community Center (formerly Faith United Methodist Church), serves a meal to the hungry every Tuesday evening throughout the year. Local United Methodist Churches have participated in this local mission for several years. The team is divided into two parts; those who prepare and cook the meal, and those who serve the meal and clean up afterward.
As with all the mission work we do, we come with a willing heart to meet those who need our support.
